Brian Black, MD, FRCSC

 

Dr. Black is a professor of Surgery at the University of Manitoba and a Pediatric Orthopedic surgeon.  Originally from Nova Scotia, he has a BSc degree from Mount Allison University.  He has a medical degree from Dalhousie University in Halifax and completed his orthopedic training at Queen’s University in Kingston and University of Toronto.  He continues to enjoy clinical research and teaching.  More recently, he has rekindled his longtime interest in veterinary medicine and has lectured at the Atlantic Veterinary College.  Dr. Black is a member of the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America.
