Dr. Burzynski's clinical responsibilities are in the Children's Hospital Emergency Department and the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. His clinical and research interest revolves around the use of Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) in the evaluation and management of acutely ill children. He has organized and taught ultrasound workshops/courses in national and international settings, including the World Congress of Pediatric Critical Care in Istanbul, Turkey in 2014, as well as biannual courses with the Society of Critical Care Medicine among others.
