Lynne Warda, MD, FRCPC

 

Dr. Warda is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and Child Health and a pediatric emergency physician. Since 2009, she has been the Medical Consultant for Injury Prevention with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority's Population and Public Health Program. Dr. Warda's injury prevention research has included road safety projects relating to helmet and booster seat use, child pedestrian and cyclist injuries, off-road vehicle injuries, and safe transportation for children with special needs. Dr. Warda has served on expert advisory groups developing guidelines for child occupant protection including the American Academy of Pediatrics, Canadian Pediatric Society, Transport Canada and the Public Health Agency of Canada.
